- Our 52-bed residential treatment facility is designed to be a sanctuary for women and children facing the effects of chemical
dependency.
- The vast majority of out treatment staff are women. Our program is gender-responsive and ethnically diversified.
- In addition to female-specific adult treatment, our facility offers specialized treatment and psycho-education for school-aged
children, a highly focused family program, and an on-site licensed childcare center.
- Tulsa Women and Children Center is designed to give clients a new life through four to six months of inpatient treatment, case
management and subsequent aftercare.
- The core program focuses on gaining an understanding of oneself and building self-esteem; creating healthy relationships,
especially with one's children; developing a positive and healthy attitude towards female sexuality; and exploring one's spirituality.
- Combined with a gender-sensitive 16-step program and positive parenting education and mentoring, the Center's clients
leave with the tools to create a new life for themselves and thier children.
