TWCC provides a comprehensive program that offers children from addicted families the ability to heal with their
mothers in treatment.
The program offers:
- A safe and nurturing environment in which to live while their mothers are in recovery.
- A thorough assessment of a child's emotional, physical and developmental strenghts and weaknesses; From this a comprehensive
treatment plan is developed to meet these needs.
- An in-house childcaare center that meets NAEYC accreditation standards; The childcare center is rated as Two Star and
will be eligible for a Three Star rating upon accreditation.
- Twelve hours per week of treatment which may include individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, social-skills
training, parent-child interaction therapy, and parent training for their mothers.
- Professional therapy by a master's level therapist, to address the traumas frequently experienced while living with a
chemically dependent parent.
- Comprehensive collaboration with outside agencies and healthcare providers.
